Welcome
You didn't come to HER for another lecture about your numbers.
You came because you're more than Type One. You're a woman with a body, hormones, a career, maybe kids, maybe plans for kids, and a life you want to live fully.
Today was the start of that conversation. This page is where we keep it going.
Sound familiar?
None of this means you're doing it wrong. It means nobody ever showed you how to make it all work together, in real life. Not in theory. Not in a 15-minute clinic appointment. In your actual life.
What's possible
This is what the women in Type One Club are building. Not perfection. Consistency, confidence and freedom.
You know what to do before training, after a big meal, on a night out, through your cycle and on a lazy Sunday. More time in range, fewer unexplained highs and lows, and no more guessing. Confidence that lasts, not a quick fix.
You lift, you train hard and smart, and your bloods stay steady while you do it. No fear of hypos. Short, effective sessions that fit the time you actually have.
Better body composition, more energy, better sleep and clothes that fit the way you want them to. Built on food you enjoy, with no food groups cut and no hours on the treadmill.
No more feeling like the only one. You'll have a coach in your corner every day and a group of women living the same reality, cheering you on and sharing what works.
The programme
A 6-month coaching programme exclusively for women with Type 1. Everything is built on four pillars, then shaped around your goals and your life.
Learn how to eat for you. Pre-bolus timing, meal timing, food pairings, carb counting from beginner to advanced, eating out and alcohol. No "good" or "bad" foods, just informed choices.
A personalised gym or home programme, plus a clear system for managing your bloods before, during and after every session. Train hard, train smart, no fear of hypos.
The foundations: basal and ratio reviews, dawn phenomenon, hormonal cycle, sleep, stress, hydration, travel and sick days. A simple tick-box system so the baseline is right.
Daily glucose reviews, weekly check-ins, direct messaging, bi-weekly group clinic calls and a community of women with Type 1. I'm your biggest cheerleader, and I'll call you out when you're not showing up for yourself.
Meet Catherine
I was diagnosed with Type 1 at 20, a year after winning my first world kickboxing title.
For years, I just got by. I rarely checked my bloods. I made up numbers in my diary on the way to endo appointments. I told everyone I was grand. I trained hard with no idea what it was doing to my blood sugars. I even said I didn't want children, when really I was scared of what diabetes would mean for a pregnancy.
Then I stopped treating diabetes like something secondary and started treating it as the foundation of my health, my performance and my future.
That shift changed everything. Not because I became perfect. Because I became consistent.
Today:
I built Type One Club because I kept seeing the same thing. It's not a lack of information that holds women back. It's burnout, overwhelm and not having a way to make it all work in real life.
Results
Lost 25kg while increasing her time in range to a minimum of 85%. She's the mum she always wanted to be for her kids, and she's living a completely transformed lifestyle.
80%+ time in range, stronger and fitter, clothes fitting better, and more confidence in her day-to-day decisions. All with routines built around her life, not the other way around.
[Add a third result here, ideally someone who wanted to prepare for pregnancy or who'd had Type 1 for a long time.]
Many of my clients are happy to chat to anyone thinking about joining. Just ask on your call.
Your next step
This isn't a hard sell. It's 30 minutes, just you and me, mapping out what the next year could look like for you and your diabetes. You'll leave with clarity, whether we work together or not.
No pressure. No judgement. Just real talk from someone who lives this every single day.
FAQ
Not at all. Most women I work with have had Type 1 for a long time and were never actually shown how to manage it in real life. It's not too late. Shame is usually what keeps people stuck, not time.
That's exactly why it's built the way it is. Short, sharp training sessions, no hours of meal prep, and a system that fits around work, family and a social life.
That's not you failing. Apps, 4-week challenges and PTs who don't understand Type 1 were never built for your body. Type One Club is coached by someone who lives with it every day, with support and accountability until the habits stick.
No. I work alongside your diabetes team, not instead of them. I help you put their advice into practice day to day, with training, food and lifestyle built in.
No. Beginner to advanced, gym or home, pump or pens. We start exactly where you are.
Nothing. It's free, and there's no obligation to join.
Your move
Today you heard what's possible. The women who get results aren't the ones with perfect numbers. They're the ones who decide to stop carrying this alone.
If you're almost ready, this is for you.
